Hello all, just wanted to point everyone to a new track from Odd Year that is now the theme song to an iPhone app called, RadTap.
“RadTap is an exciting interactive iPhone game that tests your reaction speed and mental endurance, while transporting you back to the glory days of 1990s”
Just posted one of two remixes I did for Logan Lynn’s forthcoming album, from Pillar to Post. You can hear it at the sixtyone.com. This particular remix won’t be included on his remix EP Volume 3 , but the second remix I did will be, “If He Hollers (Odd Year Remix)”.
Also, be sure to check out his track, “Feed Me to the Wolves” which I love too death:
So I thought I would drop this little nugget, even though it’s still very rough, in fact I just wrote it so i’m just handing out the chorus of this track. I have some lyrics written, I’m sure when I”m done the lyrics will probably change but this is what I have thus far:
Chorus:
Deliver Me
From Descend
We’ve Come So Far
For This To End
There Was A Time
When We Were Friends
How Could You
How Could You
This is the latest collaboration for Odd Year which features the talents of Brian Hazard of Color Theory. Brian is a singer songwriter, producer, and keyboardist that has been on tear as of late. His song, “If It’s My Time to Go” (from his latest full length, “The Thought Chapter“) won the Grand Prize in the electronic category of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest.
You can hear more great music from Color Theory here.
Feel free to “heart” the song on thesixtyone.com as well, it would be appreciated!
Got a new demo up on thesixtyone.com that features the fabulous voice of Caitlyn Hessell, check her myspace and listen to some of her acoustic styled tunes here.
We have several new tunes brewing, and will be uploaded some more demos to thesixtyone.com.
Finished a new remix of Mark Nicholas – Measure of Pleasure that you can here on the Odd Year Myspace page here. Once he uploads the track to sixtyone.com, i’ll post the player on this site as well.
I gave this particular track a Soft Cell / Electro club vibe, at least that was the aim — you can be the judge if I actually hit the target. This track can be found on Mark’s album called, “Duchess 33“.
I know, been awhile… quite terrible keeping up all the myspace/blogs/twitters updated. However I want to let you all in on a collaboration currently in the works. I’ve been programming, playing, sampling, and laying down new tracks with the intent of releasing a new EP later this year featuring Coury Palermo. For those not in the know, I wrote a couple of blog posts on my Audiodrums blog regarding Coury’s solo work and covers (Eurythmics cover ROCKS!!!). Do yourself a favor and listen to his music here: http://www.thesixtyone.com/couryp/.
So what does the new project sound like? We’ll to start with, it’s similar to the Odd Year sound, but a little more electro and retro, with of course coury’s vocals soaring over them.

Got back a great demo from Loren Radis on a new single we are working on, the best yet. Has a killer chorus and is really dance friendly for the dance floors. We also have another, more downbeat track we’ll be posting later.
So there ya go, a short and brief update on the happenings — have a goodweekend all!
