Preview new track: Stare (featuring Robert Fierro)

Posted in MP3, News on August 10th, 2010 by davidaarong – 1 Comment

Been too quite lately on the music front and thought today would be a good day to get a little more vocal.

What I’ve been up to:

Been working on new remixes for several different artists

Working on new tracks for my Drop and Solo project

Working on two remixes for a track I did with Coury Palermo called “Headline”

Working on  a couple tracks I did with Caitlyn Hessell

And finishing a 3 song ep with Robert Fierro for an as yet untitled collaboration, from which produced todays sneak peak.  We were going for an 80′s synth vibe, dark but poppy.

Coury Palermo – Here Comes The Rain Again (Odd Year Remix)

Posted in News on January 25th, 2010 by davidaarong – 1 Comment

Coury Palermo has just released his first EP, “boxsideoutV.1″  And to promote his new EP, we are giving away this remix for free.  This song, originally a song by the Eurythmics, is great to listen to at all times of the day.

If you are playing games of something the same as PartyPoker (http://www.partypoker.com/), this will get you hyped up or if you are chilling out with your girlfriend this tune will set the mood for you. It is both touching and upbeat, which I hope you will enjoy.

New Odd Year track tease …

Posted in News on September 6th, 2009 by davidaarong – Be the first to comment

So I thought I would drop this little nugget, even though it’s still very rough, in fact I just wrote it so i’m just handing out the chorus of this track.   I have some lyrics written, I’m sure when I”m done the lyrics will probably change but this is what I have thus far:

Chorus:

Deliver Me
From Descend
We’ve Come So Far
For This To End
There Was A Time
When We Were Friends
How Could You
How Could You

Odd Year – Deliver Me

So… whatcha think?

New Odd Year remix is up on Myspace

Posted in News on June 8th, 2009 by davidaarong – Be the first to comment

Finished a new remix of Mark Nicholas – Measure of Pleasure that you can here on the Odd Year Myspace page here.    Once he uploads the track to sixtyone.com, i’ll post the player on this site as well.

I gave this particular track a Soft Cell / Electro club vibe, at least that was the aim — you can be the judge if I actually hit the target.   This track can be found on Mark’s album called, “Duchess 33“.
